Quick pop to Vale Pond

Oh I love these Pre-Historic looking Herons, so here it is just for you.
This was funny today, I was waiting opposite my house as my sister was coming to collect me, and all of a sudden this Blue Jeep type car stopped to let me cross, he probably thought poor old biddy looks like she’s been trying to cross the road for ages ;0) the trouble was I wasn’t trying to cross the road I was just waiting for my sister to pick me up for my swim ;0). We eventually had our swim oh it was fabulous, although I did get a ‘back of the eye - wash’ it was as we call it slap in the face but a great 30 minute swim. Now I’m just going to make a Tomato and Brie Galette.
