Finally the paperwork (and house visit by the local police) for M’s Belgian nationality application is completed. He can leave the stress behind and go back to our daughter M who stayed in Panama.
A couple of weeks ago he received an email from the council that the application had to be finalised after 6 months, not a year as they said before. So he had to interrupt their world trip in South and Latin America, flew back from Panama, just for this necessary administration.
He’s planning to write a guide, a sort of manual. The one he missed.
He came for lunch, we served scones. He made a fruit salad, Latin American style. It was good to see him and hear all the stories of their trip from Chili to Peru, Colombia and now Panama.They will continue their voyage together next Tuesday when he’s flying back.
