Swan Lake

In the early morning my Daughter & her boyfriend went to Thorpe Park for the day with their friend, so I was detirmined to hang the new Curtains & take the nasty old ones down.
Time to get up the ladder & take the heavy ones down; I put a mask on & put my hair up; they can be very dusty & I didn't want to breath it in.
Phew that done, didn't take long, I put the old ones in a big black bag so I can take them to the tip tomorrow.
Shame the new curtains were too long & not wide enough, so it'll be back to the drawing board on that one, but glad to get rid of the old ones.
I popped to see Joan who had her friend Eileen visiting, so we had a lovely chat & I told them about the curtains; Joan said it was a shame because if she was 20 years younger she could have shortened them for me & added a strip on both curtains to make them meet. Never mind I'll cope I always do... no choice really in everything I do, I do it with a smile & off I go again. :)
So this afternoon I went to Halfords to get a new Car Ariel as mine had broken off, then I stopped off at Hampden Park for walk where I saw this family of Swans, also 4 Cygnets in the Lake.
Time to go home. :)
