Its the Way It Is

Sunflowers of Bray

When we come off the beach, they seem to greet us with a sunny smile and nod.

A lovely swim, prom walk and then into visit my mammy.

But she wasn’t herself. She didn’t touch her lunch and she appeared drowsy and a bit forgetful. I tried to have a chat with her but she kept dropping off.

This evening I am going to Liz’s house with a bunch of tennis pals to watch Cincinnati Open Final between Sinner and Alvarez … but my heart isn’t in it.

C’mon Maureen
