The arms of Venus de Milo

The Ards Man and I headed off to a free concert in Ward Park in Bangor. The band was recommended (name as in title!) as doing good covers of various rock bands. They were good, but unfortunately the sound wasn’t. It looked like they used the same speakers that they’d have in a small pub, but that didn’t really make a joyful noise in the outdoor space of the park.

We could have sat a lot closer to the bandstand than we did, but ironically feared that might be too loud! Fun was had, though, and it was a gorgeous sunny afternoon. It was so lovely to be out in such a crowd of people, all enjoying the experience.
