Utsjoki church houses

We packed up and left the campsite early, there were only 3 groups camping there. It was a beautiful Misty morning. First stop was visiting the Utsjoki church and huts. All Sami families in the district had a hut for their family to stay in when they traveled many miles for special occasions and services at the church. All well preserved, lovely setting to walk around.
We took the longer scenic road to Inari, along the Tana River, it was really beautiful. The next stop was the excellent Sami museum in Inari. Some outdoor and some indoor. We carried on driving around the lnarijärvi lake, looking for a spot for the night. We hit the jackpot with a perfect little lake at Karhunpesakvi. There was a beautiful jetty with steps to go in the lake, not bad at ca 19 deg C. There was also a great set of steps to a bear hole and a lookout. Such an amazing sunset too
