Elephant Garlic

A thoroughly miserable day with heavy overcast and strong winds continuing for much of the day accompanied by frequent heavy showers that barely wetted the ground. Temperature 18C but feeling much cooler. After a morning appointment an afternoon on indoor duties including rehousing the elephant garlic now that it has thoroughly dried off in the greenhouse. The largest is about the size of a small grapefruit.
