Happy Day

Today Bob went to hospital to have his surgery procedure on his leg, with the insertion of a stent where his artery was blocked. Emma drove him to hospital at 8am and at 12 noon I had a phone call to say he was through the procedure, doing well, and that he would be able to come home around 5pm, if all was still well.

C and I collected him at the given time, and he was delighted to be coming home, as he had been told he might be in overnight.  He is feeling good, let's see how he is tomorrow.

The son of friends got married recently at the harbour in Portpatrick.  They had a beautiful day for it, and everyone said it was a superb day.
Today we received a lovely card, with thanks for the wedding gift.  So thoughtful.
