Not an exciting day

Well, it's not been a very exciting day around here. Lots of work. Some exercise on the peloton. Chilling and doing some tedious life laundry this evening.

But we did manage to plant out some plants into the newly revived real estate and I spread it with wood chip to try and keep the weed growth down as much as possible. For now, we've put in an astilbe that was quite pot bound even though we only got it this year, some michaelmas daisies, some sort of more or less unidentified moss phlox, a couple of heathers that were having a pretty miserable time in their previous locations (crowded out) and now have room to spread, the sarracenia purchased on Saturday, and finally the eight yarrow plants that were brought over from Ireland by my sister and her partner, and which were - in their previous location - being swamped by the over excited sweet peas. That still leaves a lot of space. My sister has suggested hemp agrimony, but we won't be able to get any of that until next year now, but we've alerted the lady at Corry Croft and I think she is going to sort some out for next year. I don't think we are going to worry if that's it now until next spring.

Perhaps tomorrow might be more interesting. I suspect not....
