Garden Keepsake
Mum was a cat person.
Don’t get me wrong she loved dogs as well but over her adult years she had maybe 10 or 12 cats.
Consequently she often had cat flavoured gifts, and this is one of them.
It’s incredibly heavy and I think is a doorstop. Over the years it’s just become a garden ornament. One which travelled with us from Old Warden-Biggleswade-Sandy and now Saltburn.
It’s been a somewhat disjointed day, no real issues, progress still being made with the patient. (He can now get to the kettle and make a coffee, I just have to bring it into the living room).
However, Honey must have picked something up on her walk yesterday despite us always keeping a very close eye on her, and today she has been as sick as the proverbial dog.
So my day has been cleaning, washing, carpet cleaning, whizz to Sainsburys, change the follow up appointments with physio etc, more carpet cleaning (!), book the car for a new tyre tomorrow, and on top of all that it’s been heavy drizzle most of the day.
I’m turning comments off, as I am struggling at the moment with looking at all your journals. I will of course still look at all the TT entries, but I’ll have to catch up with everything else as soon as I can.
