The Boathouse Revisited

….this time by bike! I was a bit anxious about today as I had my OU Induction session at 9.30am and then I’d arranged to go on a big cycle ride with Kate, Carole and Janet. We’d planned to go for a walk but Kate sprained her ankle a few weeks ago and it’s still painful to walk on so we cycled to the Glen Estate instead. I’ve not been on my bike for ages and I found some of the terrain very challenging! I also had to go back for son no 1’s designer sunglasses that he’d lent me (dropped off my bike and scratched). It was all a lot of effort but ultimately worth it for the picnic by the Boathouse and the wonderfully refreshing swim around Loch Eddy.
Mr P drove to Edinburgh airport this afternoon to pick up son no 2’s partner. Lovely to have her back from Ireland.
