Crash site

Back in Scotland for a couple of months. Camping at Big Sand, near Gairloch, for a couple of days, but the weather is not as good as last year.
Went for a short walk just south of Sheildaig near Badachro, today, to a memorial site where an American plane crashed in the Second World War. The plane hit the top of Slioch, at the head of Loch Maree, and   finally crashed near Sheildaig, a distance of 15 miles.

The extra is a memorial plaque to the airmen who died in the crash.
