Linlithgow

Beautiful day for a walk around the loch. Lots of birds, including young grebes, coots, a cormorant, a heron and, of course, lots of swans. MK had to head home, so signs that being on holiday will have to come to an end.

On the way back to Edinburgh we could see smoke rising; later hearing that there was a significant gorse fire on Arthur's seat.
