Arthur's Seat

Back Blip.
Murky start to the day. Thunderstorm passes to the west of Edinburgh, the closest strike being 22km away. Foot feeling much better. A nice morning walk around the park. Edinburgh Castle visible, but Fife is not.

On the after work walk, the views were a bit clearer, but only up to a distance of around 20 miles. Blip shows Arthur's Seat, the haunches on the right hand side blackened from a fire that started on Sunday. It's not out just yet, the Fire and Rescue Service are still dampening down areas of gorse that spontaneously burst in to flame due to heat retained in the ground.
