Peachy

An overcast day brought some relief from the very warm days of late. We walked by the sea at Prinsted this morning. All was calm and quiet. Then we did a little extension to our walk to take Merlin to the vet for his annual health check. He was a good boy and the vet even went as far as describing him as an ‘angel’, which is a first!

This afternoon Andy’s uncle has arrived from Nottingham. So we’ve been chatting, catching up for much of evening. I had a short trip to the allotment to dig up more potatoes and pick some raspberries. This is another of the dahlias in flower on my plot. This one is called ‘Labyrinth’. I like its rich peachy colour.
