Bailey’s wheels
Bailey was a good lad in the night and even though he was a bit discombobulated it was the kittiwakes and the sea sounds that I was as aware of in the night as his moving about. He wasn’t keen on his breakfast again even after we’d been out for him to do his business. A bit of food and a reduced dose of insulin has been the pattern for all three of his meals so far and probably breakfast tomorrow. It’s not affected his day though. He walked quite happily to our breakfast spot (lovely coffee and a granola bowl for me at Forge Valley Roasters) then back to the hotel to one of the lounges whilst the bestest friend was otherwise engaged. Some research for eating spots and we walked from South Bay through to (our preferred) North Bay. Bailey walked quite far but when he had a lie down he went into his hired dog pram and settled really well, even falling asleep when we had our late lunch at Old Scalby Mills. We walked back in time for free cake and tea in the other lounge and then a bit of chilling back in our rooms whilst Bailey ate a little. And we’ve finished a good seaside day with time in the lounge. Bailey snoozed whilst we chatted.
