Golden Grass
MONDAY
Spent an hour in the garden this morning—tidying, deadheading, and watering.
Drove over to the show office in Llandyrnog to collect my tickets for Thursday’s Denbigh and Flint Agricultural Show.
Stopped off at the Tweedmill shop, then headed to Rhuddlan for some bowls practice ahead of tomorrow’s match.
More watering later in the afternoon.
Everything is looking dry and brown. Many of the trees are turning a golden colour, and leaves are beginning to fall. The grass in the field on my walk to the postbox looks more like hay.
