I created this index card with an old map for the background and then added a transparency image. This particular one was commercially done by company called ArtChix Studio. The company is not in business anymore but made wonderful image sheets from the early 2000's to perhaps 2014? 

I used to teach a lot of mixed media classes, used ArtChix image sheets in the classes and also represented the company. So I still have lots and lots of images to work with! 

You can also make your own transparencies with images saved on the computer, even photos! Just use a transparency sheet instead of paper. You could also ask your local copy shop if they could do it. Just in case anyone is interested!!
