Glyndebourne

The focus of today was our first of two operas in Glyndebourne's Festival. We arrive at 2pm laden with our picnic, set up camp and cracked open a bottle of champagne. We wandered around the beautiful gardens dressed in our DJs and posh frocks. This is the view from the bottom of the lake looking up towards the house and gardens.
The opera (Marriage of Figaro) was fantastic with a young cast of international singers having fun with Mozart's comedy farce.
Tomorrow we are looking forward to another comedy - Verdi's Falstaff.
