MonoMonday: Minimalism

I'm pleased to announce that a new minimal member of our family "hatched" this afternoon in the form of our third grandchild (and our first granddaughter). So here in Toronto we now have Grandson P and Granddaughter G, in addition to Grandson A back in Newcastle. Mum and baby are doing well. As I'm one of 3 boys, we have 3 sons and until today we had two grandsons, the arrival of a girl is quite an occasion!

This gave me the idea to take this minimalist photo for Jensphotos's MM challenge today - thanks Jenny.

So it's just as well I flew over here yesterday in time to look after P and Granddog Oona while our son & daughter-in-law are otherwise busy!
