A new fruit to us - a ball melon. A wee bit richer in colour than the usual watermelon, less watery with a pleasant firmer texture, and similar flavour, but less 'metallic' ( my word for melons' taste!). Perhaps the biggest advantage is that it's not humungous so not so hard to slice.
