My Seat

Set on the bank of Dacre Beck, I could sit on that bench for hours. Come to think of it, I probably have! It’s such a peaceful spot.

The bench is in the lower garden at Dalemain which is where me and Sal went on our last day of our mini-holiday.

Somehow or other I was only charged twelve quid for two coffees and two adults garden entry. My entry was free as I’m a RHS member, so I reckon she forgot to charge for the coffee. Usually I’d have said something but we all seemed to be in a bit of a confused state (which seems to be the norm for me these days!) so it wasn’t until later that Sal picked up on it.

A very enjoyable few hours and then to top the day off, in the evening we went down to Derwentwater so that Sal could get some of the Keswick Turf Zones. I just walked down to the boat landing to chill and take a few photos.
