I usually get to North Berwick every summer. I was leaving it a bit late today, and we picked a rubbish day weather-wise. The sun shone in the Burgh, but happily we had taken jackets.
A wander along the beach and the obligatory visit to the old fashioned sweet shop.
Later, the family descended for dinner. Yuri and I had cooked up a Korean feast of spicy braised pork and cabbage, rice and seaweed, cucumber salad, and kimchi. As we talked about the old Bo'ness Hippidrome cinema, I came round, usherette style, with my ice cream/lolly drawer.
We went to bed exhausted and aware we have a very early start to despatch the Leamington Spa posse.
