Emergency ironing blip
Up Calton hill this morning for a walk and it was eventful. Darwin spotted a rat as normal and then we passes a Rottie on the back road, which I see sometimes. Just after that I had to stamp on his lead before he saw the deer that jumped up the bank to get onto the main part of the hill. Rope finding was uneventful but when we were walking back a crow dropped a stick on us. Met an off lead spaniel, which upset Darwin, just before we headed down the back slope where we also passed a reactive schnauzer, but Darwin didn’t react. Long day in work sorting out other people’s problems and shaking my head at the main new system project getting mitigated all the time to meet the released deadline. Chased the solicitor to get all the issues on the paperwork sorted out, seems this one is as bad as the last one. Also arranged a visit to Bonham’s for tomorrow and called a couple of drain people to see if they can come to give us a quote. Dinner and then tackled the large ironing pile.
