Molt We Must...

A bird's molting process often leaves it naked from feather loss or sometimes just feeling/looking generally 'out of sorts' or 'uncomfortable' in it's own skin. I think that's what was going on with this little Carolina wren as she breakfasted on the Bark Butter. Nothing appeared to be wrong with her appetite, but she certainly looked very 'spiky' and generally uncomfortable. Poor baby!  m
