On the estate and a couple of monuments.

We all went for a walk this morning on the estate. Grey, overcast and mild. No one photo of us all, some extras including our grandchildren with their uncle and aunt.

In the afternoon most of us went to the Centre of Scotland stone, the most distant point from the North Sea and Atlantic Ocean. It is located on the Military Road network built under the command of General Wade. Our house is on the same route.

And we spent time at the Ewan McPherson memorial - he was a notable Jacobite in the ‘forty five uprising” leading the Badenoch men, as well as having other roles.
