Today was my first day back at work after a somewhat non-holiday.
The suspicion is that my Caps Lock was on which meant every attempt to logon failed. Then you are offered questions that you completed 10 years ago. No idea what the answers were then.
So - a quick call to our "Help" Desk followed. My boss has to fill out a form and send it in. Then the "Help" Desk can help me. My boss did that and very quickly.
Then the "Help" Desk tried calling me on my work phone number - which I didn't have access to on my work computer. They did that multiple times (all documented in the ticket they had opened and that was unavailable to me).
Another phone call from to the "Help" desk followed and the problem was cleared up. Took less than a minute.
I need to figure out how to answer phone calls I can't receive. You'd need to be a boss to answer that...
It felt like a Monday for 4 hours.
