Lovely but lethal

I thought it was to be hot and sunny again today, but it's been cloudy all day. I don't mind - I had to stain all the new timber on my fence repair and clean the whole place up, so glad it wasn't hot. I think I'll buy some more trellis and put a row lower down which will fill the gaps between the slats and give more support for the new climbers I'll be planting.

Bit of an EB today as I haven't been outside the garden. These two Lilium sargentiae flowers are beginning to go over, so I thought I'd catch them before it's too late. I love this lily and of course it produces bulbils in the leaf axils, so it's easy to propagate. I must remind Rosie not to eat them, as they're apparently poisonous to cats!
