Mitchell's Fold

One of my favourite Shropshire (only just) locations, the Mitchell's Fold stone circle on Stapeley Hill. The large central stone is, of course, a witch who was turned to stone and encircled by other stones to prevent her escape. There is something odd about the place. I use the Ordnance Survey map app on my phone when I'm walking. If you traverse the centre of the stone circle the map on the app spins around. Just saying.
