Questioner's Garden Time

Went around to see our friends Phil and Caie today.  Caie has unfortunately not been well at all and continues to await on more tests.  They were keen for us to see their new garden feature.  Early in the Spring they planted just one bulb, which they nurtured.  Before they knew it a turbine sprang from the very same spot.  Phil reported a breakthrough as, at the age of 73, he has suddenly acquired the taste for whisky.

In the very same minute today I received two emails from the water provider for the Hoy Kirk.  One threatened legal action (for the about the fourth time) because of lack of payment for water used.  The other indicated that, as a registered charity with a ‘low income’ we have never needed to pay water charges.  I phoned the legal man.  I explained the situation and he was speechless.  I couldn’t help myself and just before ending the call I asked him if there was anything else I could help him with today.  Ivor Rantova.  Our exterior downpipe from the bathroom suddenly shattered.  I know this will be the talk of Viennese tea salons tomorrow so Blippers will be ahead of the game.

In 1962 Wyatt and Neidorf moved to Mallorca, living near the poet Robert Graves.   I think I’ll ask Bernard to provide a full update on this tomorrow.
