Storage

Today I worked at home until daughter L had had her first meeting, and I could go with her to the storage unit where we have her grandmother's furniture. I was pleased that she identified a few things that she'd want in the flat that she's buying, even if it will require a trip to London with a van. It also gave us more time to chat. Afterwards, to get a bus into work I passed two old limestone kilns that are familiar to me from the bus, so I took the opportunity of getting a closer view - and taking their Turf zone.

In work I caught up with И, checked that the results of my ongoing experiments were reasonable, and gave our intern more feedback on her dissertation. Most of my time was spent communicating with the guy who'd raised the issue yesterday. I've found the cause, and he's also shared a big test instance on which our solver's performance had impressed him.
