Early Start

We were up and about quite early today.

I had to take my car to a specialist repairer for remedial work to a broken gearbox.

But first I took Hollie for a walk and we tracked along our Dark Lane for a short run,  before heading off to the wilds of Worcestershire.

I noticed quite a lot of fallen timber along the lane and wondered why? The weather has been warm, dry and breezy but not enough to bring down big branches. Curious.

Left the car to be dismantled and Mrs I brought me home, with a nice stop for breakfast at Hartlebury Castle.

Now watching this evening's coverage of the Hundred Cricket which is usually quite exciting, but a little bit disappointing so far with Manchester Originals only achieving 99 runs from a hundred balls.

I think Trent Rockets will win it easily. We'll see.
