Today's the day ......................... to distribute

We're trying a new strategy with the apple crop this year.  We're picking them now, which is earlier than normal - but means that most of the apples are still on the tree and in good shape.

We know that they won't keep because we've tried that before, so the idea is to go, tree by tree, and distribute them to friends and family.  We'll peel, core and slice some for ourselves and put them in bags in the deep freeze.  That way, we won't end up with boxes and boxes of apples that just slowly rot.
