On the bus

In Shrewsbury, our wonderful County Town,  where Mr HB and I have been today. Love this town, the history, its architecture, the shops! And the people.

We travelled into town via the P&R. A light lunch in the Old Post Office, as The Greenhouse was closed, tried on my order from Seasalt, stuff from the sale, but which actually didn't cut the mustard (neither were they the perfect fit or even suited me!!) so my credit card got refuelled. Bought a lovely pair of shoes from Moshula (a shop which embraces large feet!). Happy me. Then off to a jewellers to find a suitable present for Mr HB's elder daughter's 60th Birthday next week. She loves earrings, and we found a perfect pair, she also likes chocolate so Hotel Chocolat also obliged. I'll probably come up with one or two other little surprises to put in J's bag.  

We've had a very good day. Cooler and still very overcast. Some rain here last night so no watering needed by me but sad for all who so desperately need rain.
