Blanched and beached

Sleeping well here.  Not many out and about on our morning dog walk.  

After breakfast pegged out a washing load.  Though not sunny the breeze dried it quickly.  Mr had left a tissue in the wash and everything was like a magnet for bits of crumbled white tissue.  He's been given instructions to check clothes before submitting to be washed. 

Opened boxes of books and almost filled a large bookcase.  I order the books in alphabetical order to make it easy to find titles.

After lunch trundled the shopping trolley down the hill to the high street to donate items to the local hospice charity shop.  Also bought some fruit and vegetables and had a look at some of the other shops before heading back up the hill.  I should get fit with these daily walks.  Cambridge is pretty low on hills.  The real challenge will be cycling up the hill.  Going down is a breeze!

Still trying to locate the light bulbs for the lamp stands.  The shades are nearby but not their bulbs.  Found a bayonet fitting bulb and now have more subtle light.  The other lamp stand requires a screw fitted bulb so will have to visit  the hardware store tomorrow unless I can locate one here.  Heyho.
