So Hvar so good
This morning we motored over to Bisevo where we briefly docked, unloaded, and then loaded onto smaller craft to see the blue cave. You had to be in smaller craft as you had to duck as you went in the entrance of the cave. (First extra). The next extras are from inside the cave.
We then motored towards the Island of Hvar where we found another sheltered area and had another swim. This time the water was a lot cooler than it had been on Sunday but the temp this morning was only around 26 but got to 29 in the afternoon. Very pleasant!
From there we motored to Stari Grad where we are moored for the night. We were told it is the oldest town in Croatia founded originally by the Greeks. We had a wander around the town (fifth extra to 11th the last is one of many gelato bars which are everywhere). This afternoon we were taken by coach over to the capital city of Hvar Island, Hvar going through a tunnel and coming out on a high road looking down onto small beaches with olive trees and grape vines growing in the small hilly fields. Hvar was bustling, out guide says that it is a 'party town' where the rich and famous come and there is a multitude of bars.
We were shown around the old town by a guide and then we caught a taxi up to the fortress where this view in the main is taken. The remainder of the extras are around Hvar and then on the Riva back in Stari Grad tonight on our way back to the ship after dinner.
PS some of the extras are out of order. I hope you can work out what they are.
