Grand Central Station, Belfast
Up until last year, our busiest train and bus station in Belfast was a relic from the 1980s. It was crowded, dare I say grubby, and not a nice place to be. But now we have a grand big station that befits our confidence as a fine and vibrant city. We passed through on our way to Dublin airport where we caught a flight to Rodez, picked up the three pointed star and drove up home. The house had been closed up for three weeks during a heatwave so it was hot. Fling all the windows open. Fire up the barbecue and pour the wine. The music backdrop was the Rolling Stones. Naomi’s fave was Out of Time and mine was Waiting for a Friend. Great to be back now that the big heatwave seems has passed. Look out PandJ, we’ll be inviting you for emergency aperos!
