Chambord Castle

Not on our itinerary but a very worthwhile stop. We saw Da Vinci’s double helix staircase and it was great fun walking around it. We had seen this in a series we were watching and L saw the symbol of the castle and googled it to find we were half an hour away. An opportunity too good to pass up
