Hydrangea

This hydrangea is stunning right now. Peak bloom, and it is higher than the eaves on the house, and the purple elderberry beside it makes it really stand out.

I think there is a Canada Post employee who really needs to learn how to read. On Friday when I checked my mail there was an envelope addressed to the person who lives at 36. I live at 26. I popped it back into the mail slot so it could be put into the correct box. My landlord checked her mail today, and some of my mail was in her box. She put it under a planter on my doorstep, then let me know it was there. I picked it up, and here was this same bright pink envelope addressed to 36!! I tried to submit an online complaint about not receiving my mail a couple of weeks ago, but the site would not accept it. Time to call them and complain. I am sure my missing mail is sitting in a box that doesn't get checked very often.

Sunshine and no rain in the forecast for the next several days. Hurricane Erin appears to be staying far enough off the coast so the only effect we may get from it is wind and high waves on Friday into Saturday. We have a sunset harbor cruise booked for Saturday evening, but we should still be able to go on it, we are not in the open water.
