Proposal submitted

Another great day. Armando and I played around with AI and translating and it is both amazing and a very good thing to have a fluent person fix everything. We then worked together on the financial part of the proposal. I then fixed all the formatting inconsistencies they introduced while fixing the translation. 

I got to meet a very nice and knowledgeable man who was hoping I could hire him but understood when I explained that no one is getting paid, we are hustling to bring in work so that we CAN then do it and be paid. I’m thinking that he adds nicely to our service offerings and presented the idea to Armando. 

And then I pushed the button and submitted the proposal! And it feels great. I love working on proposals. 

And again, thank goodness for the business. DC has had the highest unemployment rate in the nation for three consecutive months now. The Trump administration is going after renewable energy so hard that the country’s electricity prices are increasing.  

Ukrainian drones destroyed Russian ammo depots in occupied Luanda Oblast. It is on a key railway line transporting ammo to the front. There were seven hits, there were explosions, there is a major fire. 

Russian bank customers are pulling money from their accounts. People are worried that the bank sector is in trouble. The withdrawal rate is two times higher rin August than it was in June or July. Ok, actually, we are halfway through August and people have already withdrawn more, at this point, than they did in all of June or July. 

The Moscow Times, referencing the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia, says wage arrears rose by 25% in July. The number of workplaces in downtime grew by one third. 

With Ukraine’s Bring Kids Bank initiative they brought back two teenage girls from territory occupied by Russia. They were under occupation for three years and forced to attend Russian schools. They studied online at Ukrainian schools. Now they are back with their families.
