Botanics

Meeting all morning, including a Teams session for the new project. 

Afternoon walk to the Botanics. Found a bed of Inula hookeri, Hooker inula, a perennial, in the shade under trees. Tea at the Inverleith cafe. Across to the pond; met a former neighbour from Aberdeenshire looking after a shy granddaughter feeding grain to pigeons. 

Back through Stockbridge. Overcast all day, and cooler; 16C and a NE wind.
