Congestion

A few general chores this morning around Ormskirk and lunch out.

Adjustments to the throttle cables on the Guzzi along with a clean and oil of the throttle housing on the handlebar. Fuel up and test ride. Not sure just how long I am going to keep motorcycling. I enjoy it but the volume of cars on the roads just keeps increasing, the standard of driving and lack of attention when driving seems to get worse day on day along with aggressive behaviour just makes me wonder how much longer it will be tolerable. Cars have driven most other forms of transport or leisure transport off the roads or at best to the margins but how do we cull cars? I certainly have no answers.

A short shake down run turned into a longer time than anticipated. Called in to see Henry about the hedge cutting and as always with Henry time flew as I spent a pleasant three and a half hours with him and his wife sat in the conservatory. Helen wondering where I had got too.
