I’ve enjoyed the last couple of days being out on the lake.
It’s been fun obviously, but it’s been nice to have some exercise too - at least in the upper body!
With reality hitting hard as I returned to work once more and bottom glued firmly to chair, I took the opportunity to kickstart my flagging running career and headed out for a while this evening.
It wasn’t my quickest or most balance run, but the important thing to me was a) surviving it and b) ensuring that all of my vital body parts were still functioning at the end of it, which they were.
One of my favourite parts of my new route is the view from the Dockray Bridge. I love the symmetry and stillness of it.
