Woke up to drizzle which lasted all morning . Took the car in for its MOT and popped into M and S on my way home, and then walked through the park. Very autumnal in parts! C, one of my neighbours (not long moved in) came for coffee and to chat about the Thursday Mixed Media group . Think she will probably join. After sh d gone I did lots of ironing, and a couple of indoor jobs and then had a late lunch. The rain had stopped by then so I gardened for an hour or two- mainly deadheading and cutting things back. I was expecting to go collect my car but got a phone call to say it had failed. The part they need to fix it won’t arrive until tomorrow- fortunately I don't need it again until Thursday.
