What fun we have

Actually, I’ve been reading Behind the Bamboo Screen: Scottish Prisoners of War Under the Japanese, a book I’d bought twenty years ago and then lost custody of. That was no cake walk. Unputdownable. 


And later I went to see Joni Mitchell. Or rather someone passing themselves off as Joni. And I’ve gotta give her full credit, she can play the dulcimer just like Joni in Blue, and the acoustic like Clouds and the electric like Hejira. And sing those high bits when required too – she’s certainly put the work in all right, so total respect.
And the man on the door is the great Robbo, man of so many pasts, and so many talents. And we have a really good talk – he was a long term user. Clean thirty years now. But, first, let’s get a photo.
