Fly Deterrent

Tess had read somewhere that half a lemon, studded with cloves and placed by strategic doors and windows, keeps flies out of the house. By and large it works, give or take the odd fly presumably with a compromised sense of smell.

As you may have guessed, I completely neglected to take a photo all day until late at night!

The day was taken up with a hot and draining Park Run and various domestic things and time wasting while following Yeovil’s abysmal 2-0 defeat away at Forest Green where the plan to be solid defensively clearly didn’t work and we forgot that the idea is to try and score some goals ourselves.
