Cadair Idris

A walk we have been planning to do for some time. A drive up to my cousin in Shropshire from Cardiff,  where we had been visiting Dad for his 92nd Birthday.  Then my cousins husband drove us across to Snowdonia the next morning to do the climb. 

Very hot..and very challenging. The descent was brutal. Drove back to Winchester the next day and after 3 + hours in the car I could barely move! 
Stunning landscape and oddly my first proper climb in the Welsh mountains. Off to the Lakes in 10 days ….at least we wont have to contend with a heatwave!
