More signs of global warming

Due to special circumstances I'm using a screenshot from Vísir as my photo of the day. 

Today was the warmest day of August ever recorded in Iceland, +29,8°C in Egilsstaðir (the eastern part of the country).

It was also very warm here in Akureyri - and very windy! - but sadly I spent this lovely day sick in bed.
