The home-grown raspberries are nowhere near as big as the ones available in the shops (as can be seen from the small number of drupelets in each berry). [That's what Wkipedia says the nodules are called - you learn something everyday day.] However, many of the shop-bought berries seem a bit bland, while the homegrown ones make with taste what they lack in size.
