A walk
Work today went better than I expected it to, given that we had a man here painting the window frames. It was only minimally intrusive and despite having all the windows open / ajar all day, not too cold. Luckily it was a decent day - good enough for Mr A to get a load of washing out and dried, and improving to warm sunshine in the afternoon.
At the point when I was facing diminishing returns in terms of progress on my article, I headed out for quite a long walk, through Kirksheaf, across the golf course to the end of that, and back through the woods to "Tain beach", as it's known, although the sea was well out so just mud flats and a bit of sand, and then back via the Plaids. I had to head back along Kirksheaf Road and across to the golf clubhouse as the bridge is still closed (and will be for the foreseeable future to the massive annoyance of the townspeople). About 90 minutes, and a good quota of steps. I took a few photos on the way, to make up a collage.
I now have to catch up on some email correspondence that has come in during the day, principally RSE related.
